A stunning early American amber cut glass vase. Little is known about this particular vase including the maker. There are no distinguishing hallmarks. Vase is believed to be from just after the Civil War. Amber glass was particularly popular then. The age of the vase can also be attributed to the tiny imperfections in the glass. There are minute bits of sand and bubbles from the making of the vase. You can see these in the up close photographs I have included. For its age, vase is in excellent condition. Vase measures 11" high by nearly 5" across the mouth. It has quite a presence about it due to its impressive size.
